Mas des Cabres Estive Cevennes Rose

"Just-ripe strawberries and tart peach are clear yet modest on the nose. A gentle creaminess wraps around floral summer berries, bright citrus, and aromatic stone fruit. The finish is mouthwatering and stony, and while the label says 14% ABV, this elegant wine certainly feels light on the palate. Pair this with the usual suspects: charcuterie, cheese, olives, and especially rich seafood dishes."

Mas des Cabres Rouge Terres d'Asperes

"Mas des Cabres is a great little certified sustainable family domaine in the the Languedoc. This wine is 75% Syrah and 25% Grenache farmed with minimal intervention. The end result is flavorful and satisfying -- laced with flavors of black fruits, autumn leaves, and limestone minerality. A combination of tank and barrel aging yields a wine that is super fresh but manifests the richness of a barrel-aged red. The best of both worlds."

Mas des Cabres Equinoxe Rouge

"I'm absolutely thrilled to share this utter delight from Laurent Boutin. Equinoxe is the seemingly unlikely combination of Merlot, Muscat de Hambourg (black muscat), and Cinsault--farmed organically and vinified with little or no SO2. The resulting wine is suprisingly light on its feet and carries with it a Beaujolais-eque taste and feel. A flawless accompaniment for hotdogs and hamburgers off the grill, pulled pork, and the like. Stick in in the fridge and set your timer for 40 minutes to attain utter apogee crushability."

Domaine de la Combe Au Mas Bouquier Blanc

"Combe au Mas is the passion project of Thomas Ayoun and Marie-Sophie Jullien. These young guns farm 8 hectares of vineyard in Mont Ventoux applying an incredibly conscientious approach including strict adherence to organic viticulture, polyculture, and biodiversity. These vineyards are loved and cared for like few others. Their white wine, the Bouquier Blanc is a pretty blend of Vermentino, Roussanne and Grenache blanc. Like all of their wines, the Bouquier is vinified in tremendous, 100+ year old amphorae. The result is an impeccable balance of richness and freshness accented by wildflowers, juicy pears, and salinity. For a region with a subtle reputation for clunky whites, this representation is just really pretty. The perfect transitional white. Pair it up with roasted butternut squash or lobster mac and cheese."

Domaine de la Combe Au Mas Rigaouier Rouge

"Although I knew it would be good, the Combe Au Mas Rouge has seriously exceeded my expectations -- what an incredibly pleasurable glass of red wine. On the nose: creamy black cherries, black olives, wood smoke, black tea, and fresh jam rise from the glass. On the palate it is mouth-coating, fine-grained, and textural. A medium-plus-bodied frame offers layer upon layer of more black creamy fruit counterpointed by savory nuances of white pepper, garrigue, and warm spices. 13.5%"
