"This little blend hales from the appellation of Bugey, in the foothills of the French Alps, nestled north of the Savoie, and south of the Jura. This offering from Yves Duport offers a stunning simplicity and soul. Les Trois is a reference to the 3x grape varieties that make up the blend. 33% Aligote 33% Altesse 33% Chardonnay and what you get is almost a hybrid of Burgundian and Savoie tradition: clean crisp tree fruit, fine lines, distinct minerality, levity and elegance. This is a great option for warm weather as either an aperitif, or beside grilled fish, grilled chicken, summer salads and offers great versatility with cheese."
