"This soulful little blend from Catalonia is a small project spearheaded by Marta Pedra--a young farmer/winemaker who grew up in the region. This is a combination of Garnacha, Tempranillo, and Trepat (an indigenous grape, commonly used for Cava Rose)--the resulting wine is elegant though packed with flavor: freshly picked berries, black peppercorn, black tea, and stony minerals. This is my kind of red--a great option for the Beaujolais lovers. Partner it with tacos, chorizo, chicken pimientos, or grilled tuna."
