“Aromas of tart summer strawberry, cranberry, apricot, and white peach, with whiffs of dried wildflowers and pressed oily citrus peel. On the palate, the fruit is seasoned perfectly by a dash of salinity and gravelly river rock. The finish is long and complex; the fruit and sea salt waning to reveal dried citrus and woodsy herbs. For all its complexity, it vanishes quickly and steadily, especially at 11.5% abv. A simply perfect aperitif, it pairs stunningly with shellfish, grilled pork, or citrus roasted chicken.
