"Totally lights out Brunello. Giacomo Bindi is an incredibly intuitive farmer, a spectacular spirit, and a genuinely nice guy. What you get, although still primary-this is incredibly approachable even at the beginning of its evolution. On the nose: layer upon layer of luxurious black cherries, maraschino, tea leaf, and freshly sliced mushrooms accompanied by whispers of exotic spices and wood smoke. The palate is generous, layered and long. Giacomo makes several hundred cases a year and once it's gone, wait for the next release."
