"A salty laser beam wrapped in the softest fluffy bathrobe. The aromatics of this wine kept changing over and over and over. One of the most complex noses on a young Les Chenes I can remember. Tart apple and citrus, but more thick salty chalk than any of the other wines last night. On the pallet, perfect balance already. It is definitely going to grow beautifully over time, but it is a wow wine already. It did take about 30 minutes for the palate to catch up with the nose, then there was a ton of minty green apple on the mid-palate. Really pretty stuff! The finish was salty chalk and green apple/pear spice for days."
