"From Domaine des Canailles comes this soulful earthy take on Beaujolais Blanc that I fell for instantly. Beaujolais is such an overlooked terroir for Chardonnay and although most examples don't quite acheive Puligny-Montrachet regal minerality--there is a lot of charm here and this is among the very best I've tasted. Rustic tree fruit, white mushrooms, sea salt, fresh linen, wild herbs, and lemon oil. A great white to partner with trout."
