"I’m above and beyond excited to introduce this new addition from the Paris Wine Company. This small estate from the Languedoc is perched high in the mountainous hillsides around the appellation of Corbieres--positioned on a private parcel of land that’s basically surrounded by 700 acres of French national park land. Karine and Nicholas are the couple behind Mirouze and the “Rouze” is effectively their flagship wine, a distinct and soulful blend of Cinsault, Carignan, and Mourvedre. What you get is a happy cocktail of red and black fruits: wild strawberries, wild raspberries, crunchy black cherry and black cherry liqueur, all accented by distinct top notes of wood smoke, garrigue (brushy scrub herbs), cedar, mushrooms, and dry dusty earth. A flawless accompaniment for ham, lamb, or grilled or roasted veggies. Organic and biodynamic."
