"The Altitudes Ixsir is red wine from Lebanon. Altitudes sources grapes from all over Lebanon, from the North to the South. This particular blend is a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Caladoc and Tempranillo farmed on a combination of clay and limestone. Winemaking treatment is 6 months in a combination of neutral French Oak barrels and tank. What you get is soft, bright and spicy driven by alluring notes of crunchy wild cherries, wild raspberry, dry dusty earth and a touch of spice (not from barrel, from the grape itself). Partner this with lamb shawarma wraps, a nicer spread of charcuterie, roasted root veggies, olives, feta cheese, and flat bread."
