"A fun red wine from the village of Penafiel, in the appellation of Ribera del Duero, in the region of Castilla y León. This is 100% Tempranillo vinified in stainless steel without the addition of Sulphur--aka, not your traditional Tempranillo. These vines are located at 850-950 meters above sea level and are between 15 and 60 years old. The resulting wine is crunchy, driven by brambly black fruits, minerals, and tea making it the perfect accompaniment for warm weather and warm weather fare. Sip it grill-side with a slight chill or even with a diverse spread of tapas (this style adapts pretty well to fish and shellfish) or meaty/chorizo paella. 14%, Sulfites: 0mg added."
