When I moved to the USA from France in 2000, people quickly started calling me the “wine guy”—even though, at the time, I honestly knew very little about wine. That began to change when I started working at Luc’s Café, a French restaurant in town. The owner took me under his wing, shared his knowledge with me, and helped me discover a true love for wine. After 15 wonderful years in the restaurant industry, I felt it was time for a new chapter that would allow me to spend more time with my family. That is when Mitch gave me the opportunity to join Ancona’s Wines & Liquors, where I could continue learning, grow my wine knowledge, and deepen my passion for good wines. Soon after, I successfully passed WSET Level II. 

Outside of work, what I enjoy most is spending time with my family. I love being outdoors—whether we are hiking, paddleboarding, or skiing—but nothing makes me happier than playing soccer with my son, Olivier, and cheering him on at his games. I also enjoy movies and gaming, because I truly believe we are never too old to be kids at heart. 

Wine found its way into my glass almost by chance, and I am grateful every day that it did.
