"Appearance: Cloudy amber brown with a thick pillowy off white head that stays for the duration from a semi vigorous pour and then swirling the yeast in at the end. Smell: Fruity mix of pear, peach and mandarin orange in the nose, soft spicy clove and alcoholic esters noticeable also. Taste: Bubbly champagne like carbonation though a medium body and a full malty palate flexes for a smooth and crisp mouth feel. Big spicy splash of clove as soon as the effervescent carbonation hits. Phantom like hop bitterness that is barely there is buried among the wound up flavours. Fruity all over going from pear to mandarin orange to peach, faint medicinal flavour from the phenols also kicks in. Obvious alcoholic esters present with a sweet spiciness. Healthy twang from the wheat malt and ample sweetness to, a mild sweet bread flavour and a semi dry grainy finish. "-(beer advocate)
